Group sting
Description and Comments
While enjoying the waters at Carolina Beach, NC, 5 people in our group of 17 experienced stinging and red welts. No one actually saw a jellyfish clearly enough to identify. The 10 year old got the worst of it on her foot, and 13 year old described seeing a clear blob. This is our first jellyfish encounter.
