Bluebottles at Balmoral

Stung by a bluebottle this morning about 350m offshore. Tricky to get the stinger off once it was wrapped around my hand. The bluebottle was about 1.5metres away so goodness knows how long its stinger was.
An antihistamine, hot shower, and cream rubbed on the sting has negated most of the effects.
